When I first met Courtney and Jamie at their engagement session, I knew right away that they were a perfect match! They are the kindest, most down-to-earth, let’s-party kind of people—and I loved it!

There’s something undeniably magical about a New Year’s Eve wedding—an evening where love and new beginnings collide in a celebration of the past, present, and future. The morning of their wedding day, I found myself preparing for it differently than most weddings. I wasn’t just excited; I was really, really excited to see my two friends get married! Yes, I was there to capture it, and I had a job to do, but the relationship I built with Courtney and Jamie was special. It turned into such a great friendship—one I will truly cherish forever.

Their first look overlooked the ocean, with the beautiful Nubble Lighthouse as the backdrop. We then made our way to the ceremony site at the stunning St. Mary’s Church in Wells, ME. The festive décor and warm lighting made the space feel so special and romantic. After the ceremony, we piled into a limo, riding the high of newlywed bliss and popping champagne! Witnessing a couple so madly in love and capturing that energy radiating through every photo was absolutely amazing.

Then, the real party began as we arrived at The Union Bluff—music was blasting, guests were cheering, and more champagne was popped! From that moment on, we danced the night away, enjoyed heartfelt speeches, indulged in incredible food and sweets, and witnessed some truly impressive dance moves. There was no better way to ring in the new year!
